At the end of the year, members submit photographs for a category. 
The photographs are submitted to a respected photographer for judging. 
The judge reviews the photographs and identifies the winners.  At the December meeting, the judge discusses each image and identifies the

photos which have won awards.

This helps inform the club members about the attributes which are important.
